OST Launches Machine Learning Study Program For Software Developers

A new course aimed at software developers is to be offered by OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences. As part of the new certified study program entitled “Machine Learning for Software Engineers”, experienced professional programmers can learn all about how to implement machine learning technology in software solutions.

OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences is launching a new certified study program on the subject of Machine Learning for Software Engineers. The course will focus on teaching experienced software developers all about the development, operation and deployment of machine learning projects, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the university.

The course will cover the basics in addition to delving deeper into the classic methods of machine learning and deep learning, while there will also be a practical element for course participants to get stuck into. “Moreover, theoretical basics will also be taught in order to build an important bridge between machine learning engineers and software development”, the course description explains.

The course, which is set to begin on March 1, takes place over a period of 25 days and costs 9,800 Swiss francs in total. Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will receive a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Machine Learning for Software Engineers.
